Come Fish Vero Beach…
If you’re looking for a unique fishing experience, look no further — you’ve come to the right place. Vero Beach is home to the most diverse estuary in North America, the Indian River Lagoon. The Treasure Coast (Vero Beach, Ft. Pierce and Stuart) offers exceptional fishing due to the local inlets that supply this section of the Lagoon. Over 300 species of fish, birds and wildlife inhabit the lagoon’s deep waters, shallow flats, spoil islands and mangrove shorelines.
You can fish for Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout and Snook year round, and during late Spring and Summer, Tarpon and Permit can be added to the mix. It’s your choice whether you want to fish with light tackle using live and/or artificial bait or with a fly rod. With so many other species of fish in our river, it’s not uncommon to catch 5 or 6 different species on your trip. (For an up-close look at the different species, check out the Fish Species page.)
